Dunlora Declaration of Protective Covenants and Restrictions

Dunlora Declaration of Protective Covenants and Restrictions (Declaration), Article III, Covenants, Restrictions and Affirmative Obligations.

“The primary purpose of these covenants and restrictions and the foremost consideration in their origin has been the creation of a community that is aesthetically pleasing and functionally convenient” (Article III, Covenants, Restrictions and Affirmative Obligations). They are also intended to promote the preservation of homeowner values and provide for the safety of residents and visitors.  All provisions are intended to achieve one or all of these objectives.  It is expected that compliance with these conditions will come about primarily as a result of each homeowner’s desire and requirement to meet these goals. Any deviations will be corrected by the homeowner.

References to the exact Declaration paragraph are provided in “italics”  after each covenant is discussed. Homeowners should refer to the Declaration if they wish to read the complete and binding provisions of this section of the packet.

A quick reference summary of these applicable covenants and restrictions can be reviewed by reviewing the Dunlora Covenants Summary Booklet.

Every lot owner shall comply with all lawful provisions of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions. (Code of VA POA Act, Section 55-515)
