Architectural Review Board

Chair, Paul Beckert

Responsible to the Board of Directors for investigation of, and approval authority for, any member requests for external structural or landscaping changes to their Dunlora property.  Intercedes on behalf of the Board of Directors if changes are noted on member property that has not been approved by the ARB.  Governing document:  Article III, Dunlora Declaration of Protective Covenants and Restrictions and Dunlora Architectural & Landscaping Guidelines.

Clubhouse Committee

Chair, Nancy Hartmann

Responsible to the Board of Directors for monitoring the physical and maintenance status of the Dunlora Clubhouse and pool area.  Reports any discrepancies to the  for correction.

Community Directory Committee

Chair, Chuck Gagliano

Periodically updates, prints and distributes the Community Directory to the membership.  Provides revisions to the newsletter editor each quarter to reflect changes that occur between directory publications.

Covenants Committee   

Chair, Jimmy Culver

Researches the Association governing documents, solicits comments from the membership and advises the Board of Directors on areas of the documents that need amending.

Dunlora Electronic Bulletin Board (Dunlora_announce)

Moderator, Alan Kane

Maintains the list of addressees on the Bulletin Board.  Responds to requests for appropriate email announcements to the community.  Monitors the quality control of announcement requests and consults with the Board of Directors when requests do not seem appropriate.

Dunlora Community Website

Webmaster, Sam Evans

Manages the website and information displayed thereon, providing current, accessible information on Dunlora to the membership.

Gardening Plots Committee

Chair, Alan Kane

Oversees, organizes, allocates and manages the vegetable garden plots in the Dunlora community garden.

Landscape Committee

Chair, Marcy Springett

Monitors the health and maintenance of the landscaping in the common areas of Dunlora.  Advises the Board of Directors when discrepancies are noted and when changes/upgrades are warranted.  Coordinates with the landscaping contractor and Managing Agent when adjustments to procedures are necessary and do not warrant Board intervention.

Meadowcreek Parkway/VDOT Liaison Committee

Chair, Tom Harvey

Coordinates with the VDOT, the Landscape Committee and landscape contractors regarding all aspects of the construction of the Meadowcreek Parkway as it affects Dunlora.

Nature Trails Committee

Chair, Tom Harvey

Develops and maintains the system of nature trails in common areas throughout the community.

Neighborhood Watch Committee

Chair, Judy Schlussel

Monitors and reports to the membership and Board of Directors on items concerning the health, safety and security of the community.  Coordinates with County Authorities on issues of public safety and security.

Newsletter Committee

Chair, Jane Beckert

Solicits articles, edits them, and organizes and prepares the Dunlora Quarterly Newsletter for distribution.

Soccer Committee

Chairs, Shelley &

Greg Robbins

Monitors the maintenance and coordinates the use of the playing field.  Advises the Board of Directors when conditions warrant its intervention.

Tennis Committee

Chair, Bruce Jackson

Monitors tennis court maintenance requirements and advises the Board of Directors of work needed.  Organizes tennis play times and special events.

Welcome Committee

Chair, Bess Kane

Welcomes new residents to Dunlora.  Provides newcomer directory information to the Directory Committee for inclusion in the newsletter and directory.
